Mistaking Luck for Ability

Many people go through their entire lives without realizing one simple truth:

they constantly mix up luck and ability.

When things go well, they believe their success is all because of their own talent and hard work.

They think they are invincible, that they can control everything, and that their good results will last forever.

When things go wrong, they blame everything on bad luck.

They say the era is against them, the environment is too harsh, and others are too lucky.

They never look inward to see their own weaknesses.

This is the biggest trap in life.

Luck is the wind that helps you fly.

Ability is your own wings.

When the wind is strong, even a stone can fly high.

But when the wind stops, only those with real wings can keep going.

Never overestimate your ability when you are on the top.

Never underestimate your effort when you are at the bottom.

Understand what is luck, and what is your real strength.

Only then can you stay calm in good times and keep fighting in bad times.
